Ancient History

Here we present cartoons by Phil Jeffcott, Nilotic and others from the very distant past.

Frequently surreal, often extraordinarily offensive, these cartoons are not advised for the faint hearted.

I suppose some sort of explanation may be called for. These are cute round headed characters created by Phil and Nilotic in the late eighties whose adventures vaguely reflect what they got up to at school. Some of it relatable like bunking class, some, stranger. You will be surprised to hear that such things as the game of Caktm, the phantom foamers and so on are actually only mild exaggerations of events that really happened…
Cak was one of the first truly extreme sports. You stand under a chestnut tree and throw a cricket ball into it. The diffusion of the branches means no one knows were the ball will fall. This sense of terror is known as Cwufling and the sense of adrenaline it generates is like nothing else. If you don't have a ball, any potentially lethal object will do.
Foaming is clapping a handful of shaving foam onto someone, by the way.
